Fields of handy size will race at the first totalisator meeting of the Wairio Trotting Club tomorrow. The track will be in firm order, and the single-pool system of betting will operate. The double will be run on the Wairio Cup and the Linton Handicap. Selections are:— Noon: Ohai Trial Handicap.—Tactics, Coylton, Counterpart. 12.40: Wrey’s Bush Handicap.—Skyline, Sure Friend, Jonquil. 1.20: Wairio Trotting Cup.—Night Flight, Biddy's Pet-Senate bracket. 2.0: Ohai Trial Handicap.—Trilby, Plain Bruce. Clubman 2.40: Linton Handicap.—High Class, Willow Hall. Aurora Lady. 3.15: Duncan Handicap.—Skyline, Sure Friend, Glamour Girl. 3.50: Wairaki Handicap.—Ferry Walla, Martial Dawn. Peter Joffre. 4.25: Nightcaps Handicap.—Cabot, Night Flight, Biddy’s Pet bracket.
