Recent Conference Of Parliamentarians PA WELLINGTON. Dec. 7. “Both the visit to New Zealand and the conference itself have been of firstrate value to the work of our association,” said Sir Howard d’Egville, secre-tary-general of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, commenting today on the recent conference. Sir Howard left Wellington this morning by air for Auckland and Australia, where he will join in the Canberra discussions. , „ . Sir Howard referred to the efficient organisation of the tour of both islands and to the value of the conference in enabling delegates to understand one another’s viewpoints and thus lay the foundation for close cooperation in future. The General Council of the association felt deeply indebted to the New Zealand branch of the association and to the New Zealand Government, he said.
