On Saturday afternoon the Corstorphine Community Centre Association and the Parents' Association combined in providing a Christmas party for the children. Provision was made for 300 children all of whom were entitled to receive a gift, a balloon, soft drinks, and as much ice-cream as they could eat. In this photograph Santa Claus and some of his helpers are distributing gifts to the children. Lady Sidey, who was at the function, is in the centre at the rear. On her left is Mrs A.
