CAPPING WEEK

PROCESSION ON MAY 11 The annual Capping Week of the University of Otago will begin this year on Saturday, May 7, when the opening performance of the concert will be given. - Because His Majesty’s Theatre will be engaged for the grand opera season, the concert will be presented in the St. James theatre. The capping procession will take place on Wednesday, May 11, with the capping ball in the Town Hall at night. The graduation ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 10. The Capping Book will be on sale in the city on the Tuesday. Preparations are already being made for the capping events, and various sub-committees are active. Women students are again taking part in the proceedings, and will appear in the concert.
