FINAL TRIAL

WHIPPET RACING CLUB PREPARATION FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS The Dunedin Whippet Racing Club held a trophy meeting on Saturday, this being the final try-out for the dogs before the New Zealand Championships at Christmas. Price and Keenan’s Piccolo won the Foreshore Open convincingly, and his chances arc good for the big meeting. The Bay Open went to The Shiner, owned by Mr J. Fitzpatrick.

Kid Wolf (Ch.) the North Island champion, showed that he has not lost his form, winning the Open Hurdles from the Byd mark. Results:—
