FIRST DAY AT MANAWATU PA PALMERSTON N„ Dec. 19. The first day of the Manawatu summer meeting was held in fine but windy weather. The track was in excellent order, and there was a large crowd present. The totalisator handled £74,602 10s, as compared with £75,952 10s last year.
