PORT CHALMERS
CHUMS’ CLUB FORMED There was a large attendance at the inaugural meeting last week of the Deborah Bay Chums’ Club, and prospects for its future success are bright. Musical items, as well as plays, were presented and organised games were played. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr Blyth; vice-presidents— Messrs. R. E. Cromarty, L. J. Neilson, S. Waghorn, T. Flemming, and W. Lewis; captains—'Messrs W. Barnard and J. Lewis; secretary, Mr J. Little; treasurer, M. Ledgerwood; committee —Miss J. Lewis and Mrs Barnard.
