TO CLOSE NEXT WEEK
GOVERNMENT LOAN ON LOCAL MARKET
PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. The present 3 pep cent. Government loan on the local market, maturing on July 15, 1963-65. is to be closed on December 22. Announcing this today, the Minister of Finance, Mr Nash, said this loan \*Ss opened on January 19. 1948, and had been available for subscription right through the year. The amount received to date was £23,635,000, and it had been applied, In terms of the prospectus, in financing the national development programme.
