NEW MINISTER

INDUCTION AT WAKARI

The Rev. N. C. Williams was ordained and inducted into the charge of Wakari last evening by the Presbytery of Dunedin. In the absence of the moderator, the Rev. A. M. Elliffe, the Rev. R. S. Watson conducted the service, assisted by the Revs. D. R. Allen and H. H. Barton.

At the conclusion of the service. Mr and Mrs Williams were welcomed at

a social gathering presided over by the interim moderator, the Rev. J. M. McKenzie. Musical items were given by Mesdames S. Brogg and G. M. S. Webster, Miss P. Howard, and Mr R. Penman. Mrs D. Leslie played the accompaniments. Mr and Mrs Williams, who were married recently, both came from Auckland. Mr Williams is a graduate of Auckland University College with a B.A. degree. He completed his theological course in the Presbyterian Theological Hall this year.
