WEDDING

HUNT-STEWART A wedding in which the bride and bridesmaids are all members of the nursing profession took place at First Church. Dunedin, on the afternoon of Thursday. December 2, when Margaret Mary Rae, elder daughter of Mrs and the late Mr A. Stewart, of Kaitangata, was married to Stanley Regnault, son of Mr and Mrs Hunt, of Northcote, Auckland. The bride, who was escorted by her brother, Dr Ross Stewart, made a pretty picture dressed in a trained gown of white satin with inset yoke of lace. A circlet of orange blossom held her beauti-fully-embroidered veil in place, and she carried a shower bouquet of Christmas lilies and white roses. The bridesmaids. Elva Stewart and Daphne Grey, sister and cousin of the bride, were dressed alike in draped gowns of teal georgette. They wore hats of the same material trimmed with cyclamen flowers and veiling, and carried bouquets to tone. The best man and groomsman were the Rev. L. Geering and Dr John Stewart, both of Dunedin. At a reception held later the guests were received by Mrs Stewart, the bride's mother, who wore a navy ensemble with gold accessories, and Miss Nutsey, of Auckland, aunt of the bridegroom, in delphinium blue with navy. The couple will make their home in Auckland where the bridegroom is an anaesthetist in the Auckland Public Hospital.
