MANIOTOTO HOSPITAL BOARD

The usual meeting of the Maniototo Hospital Board was held at Ranfurly, and was attended by Messrs T. A. Lowis (chairman), M. H. Hanrahan, R. J. Gibson, A. Kane, V. P. S. O’Neill, A. J. Jamieson and Mrs W. M. Smith, members of the board, and Dr N. G. Murray, medical superintendent. The medical superintendent reported that one male and nine female patients were admitted to the hospital during November. Two male and 16 female patients were discharged, and three patients remained under treatment at the end of the month. Eight babies were born in the hospital during the month. Mr T. A. Lowis was re-elected the board’s representative on the Waipiata Sanatorium Committee for the ensuing term.
