BLACK MARKET ROUND-UP IN FRANCE
Rec. 8 p.m. PARIS, Oct. 15. More arrests are expected in the nation-wide round-up of food and petrol black market dealers in France as a result of a Cabinet decision to apply a law providing for heavy sentences, including the death penalty for black market crimes. About 30 people have been arrested during the past week. The French press, welcoming the Government’s decision, says France is going to rid itself of black market dealers.
