Gilchrist Challenge Cup The Oamaru Amateur Cycling Club held a road race on Saturday afternoon from Orana Park to Peebles and return for the Gilchrist Challenge Cup. Results were IC J. Fraser (12min), 1; E. Cooper (Bmin), 2; A. J. Macrae (scr), 3, K. Gibson (3min), 4; F. Gibson (3min), 5. The fastest time went to A. J. Macrae, who covered the distance in lhr Imln Slsec. K. J. Fraser will now hold the trophy, the previous holder being G. Aitcheson.
