Sandpiper Should Be Prominent In Forbury Park Sprint
SPORTING
The Forbury Park Trotting Club’s spring meeting will be concluded to-morrow, with a card of good fields, some of which include fresh horses. There are no divided races, which will no doubt be appreciated by the public. After the rain on Wednesday night the going on the tracks yesterday morning was heavy and most of the horses were worked on the all-weather track without being asked to show anything like their best paces. The track dried out very quickly, however, and the most interesting work-out in the afternoon was that of Lucky Fellow, Belmont Hall. Whipster and Chamfer, who speeded up over the Ust halfmile of a mile and a-half to come home in lmin 4 3-ssec. The trotters Swanee River and Dan Martin went a mile' and ahalf, the last half in lmin 5 3-ssec.
