WOMEN’S GOLF

REPRESENTATIVE MATCH The team which will represent Otago against Southland in an interprovincial women’s golf match to be played at the Otatara links on Tuesday is:—Mrs J. K. Dolan (Otago). Miss C. Harvey (Omakau), Mrs R. Paul (Otago), Mrs G. Burnett (St. Clair), Miss J. North (Otago), Mesdames E. Williams (Otago),<E. Lucas (St. Clair), and Joblin (St. Clair). Reserve: Mrs E. A. Osborne (St. Clair).

ST. CLAIR CLUB

A Flag Match was played by the St. Clair Ladies’ Golf Club at the Corstorphine links on Tuesday. The winners were:—A Grade, Mrs R. Paul; B Grade, Mrs McPherson. On Tuesday a Canadian Foursomes Match will be played. The draw will be made the club house. On Wednesday teams from Balclutha, Milton and North Otago played an interclub match against St. Clair. In the morning, match play over 13 holes resulted in a win for St. Clair. Canadian Foursomes played in the afternoon resulted in a win for Mrs A. Wethey (Milton) and Mrs Aitken (Balclutha), 5 down.

OTAGO CLUB

The monthly B Grade Medal Match was played by the Otago Ladles' Club on Thursday. The best scores were:—A Grade; Mrs Gibson 96—13—83. B Grade: Miss Hart 105—25—80.
