G. J. COLES' EARNINGS
Record net earnings are reported by G. J. Coles and Co., Ltd., Melbourne retailers. Net profit of £265,822 for the year ended June 30 was £68,729 more than that of the previous year, and £7473 above the previous record figure of £258,349 achieved in 1941. Ordinary dividend has been raised from 12 to 15 per cent., and £51,000 added to reserve.
