FRESH MEAT TRADE
AIR SUPPLIES FOR NORFOLK ISLAND P.A. AUCKLAND, Aug. 17. The first shipment of fresh meat to be flown to Norfolk Island will leave Auckland to-morrow in two Air Force Dakotas. This may be the forerunner of a regular exchange of foodstuffs. Besides three tons of meat, the Dakotas wiP carry 14001 b of whaling gear for a syndicate which chases whales off Norfolk while they are heading for the Antarctic.
