NEW MAGISTRATE
MR W. A. HARLOW APPOINTED PA. WELLINGTON. June 8. The appointment of Mr William Arthur Harlow as a stipendiary magistrate was announced to-day by the Attorney-general, Mr Mason. Mr Harlow who was born in Dunedin, was educated at the Kaikorai public school and the Otago Boys’ High School. He started his legal career with the firm of McGregor and Ramsay in Dunedin and later practised for many years m the Central Otago district. Since his discharge from the air force at the end of the war, he had been attached to the Crown Law Office. It is understood that he will relieve for the present in the Wellington Court pending the appointment of a successor to Mr W. F. Stilwell, who was recently appointed a deputy judge of the Arbitration Court.
