FATAL INJURIES
ACCIDENT TO CYCLIST PA INVERCARGILL. June 7. Involved in a collision with a taxi on the North road last night, Anthony Silvester Devlin, aged 44, single,, a plant overseer for the Public Works Department in Invercargill, suffered injuries from which he later died. The accident occurred about three-quarters of a mile on the city side of Cooper s corner. Devlin was cycling towards the city, and was overtaken by the taxi, which was driven by Joseph Daiton Ashmore. He was admitted to th« Southland Hospital at Kew at 10.26 p.m., and died about 1 a.m.
