DOMINION’S GREETINGS

p.A. AUCKLAND, June 7. On the occasion of the official observance of the King's Birthday, the Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, sent the following cablegram to his Majesty:— “On this day, set aside for the observance of your Majesty’s birthday in this Dominion, I beg with humble duty to tender to your Majesty, on behalf of the Government and peoples of New Zealand, its island territories, and Western Samoa, the most loyal and respectful congratulations and good wishes, and an assurance of their devotion to your Majesty’s Throne and person.”
