LEARN TO SWIM CAMPAIGN

The Oamaru Amateur Swimming Club has made, arrangements with two officers of the Physical Welfare Branch of the Department of Internal Affairs to be in attendance at the baths from Monday, November 24, to Wednesday, December 3. During the period an effort will be made to teach as many children and adults as possible to swim. School children will he coached in the mornings and early afternoons, and any adults who wish to learn to swim will be welcomed. Private tuition for adults can be arranged for the early morinings, late afternoons and evenings. Those wishing to learn to / swim aje asked to hand their names, together with the most suitable times, to the baths caretaker.
