RUSSO-GERMAN ALLIANCE
SOCIALIST LEADER’S APPEAL Rec. 10.30 p.m. BERLIN, Nov. 8. Walter Ulbricht, the Communist deputy chairman of the Socialist Unity Party, appealed in an article in Neuss Deutschland for a RussoGerman alliance. Russia, he said, alone favoured the resurrection of a united Germany. The American Military Government next week is beginning broadcasts •to Germans on "Freedom versus Totalitarianism,” as part of the anti-Com-munist campaign.
