ILLEGAL ENTRY

HUNGARIANS IN AUSTRIA CAPTURED BY RUSSIANS Rec. 11 p.m. LONDON. Nov. 8. Eighty-seven Hungarian soldiers and one officer, who crossed the Austrian frontier and entered the Soviet zone in Austria, gave themselves up last night. Reuter’s Vienna correspondent said that the Hungarians entered Austria at Selbach, in the Russian zone, believing they were at a place of the same name in the British zone. The British United Press correspondent’s version is that the soldiers were trying to reach the British zone, but the Russians captured all except one, who reached the British zone.
