EARTHQUAKE CAUSES CASUALTIES

Rec. 11 p.m. LIMA (Peru). Nov. 1. At least four were killed and many injured in an earthquake which virtually destroyed some of the small towns in Central Peru Three parishioners were crushed to death when the church tower fell on the panic-stricken congregation rushing from a church at Huancayo. A baby was killed in his crib when a wall caved in at Tarma. Hundreds of churchgoers in Lima rushed into the open when the ’quake began.
