EARLY VISIT TO DOMINION Special to the Daily Times CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 1. “A visit to New Zealand in the near future is likely from one of the outstanding world Church leaders, possibly Dr Stanley Jones or Dr H. E. Fosdick, said the Rev. J. A. Thomson in presenting the report of the Life and Work Committee to the Presbyterian Assembly in Christchurch. Dr George McLeod also expected to be in the country at the end of next year. He was well known for his work at the Island of lona, where the ancient abbey was situated from which came St. Columba, the founder of the Church of Scotland.
