PRICES SLIGHTLY LOWER Rec. 8 p.m. COLOMBO, Oct. 29. There was a better demand generally at the Ceylon tea sales to-day, but prices were slightly lower except for Tippy tea 3, which were dearer. Offerings totalled 3,237,0001 b, and comprised 1662 lots. Prices for a few lots of broken Pekoes averaged 200 Ceylon cents, but the others ranged between 142 and 180 cents. Fannings fetched 125 to 165 cents, and dusts 100 to 130. The top price realised was 280 cent's a lb for Flowery Broken Orange Pekoes ....COMM
