DEATH OF DOCTOR

FOUND WITH THROAT CUT Special to Daily Times GREYMOUTH. Oct. 5. Found in the bathroom at his residence at Karamea yesterday with nft throat cut and suffering severely from loss of blood, the resident medical officer, Dr Walter Foskett, aged 56, married, died on his way to the Westport Hospital in an ambulance. Dr Foskett, who came from England, took over the Karamea practice in March of this year. An inquest was opened at Westport this morning, when evidence of identification was given by G A Brown, secretary of the Buller Hospital Board. The inquest will be concluded later.
