Elderly Man’s Death
Murdo Roderick Campbell, married, aged 72 years, a rabbiter residing at Kurow. who was admitted to the Oamaru Public Hospital on Thursday suffering from injuries to the b ac k as a result °f a motor accident at Lake Waitaki on the previous night, died at the hospital a 7.15 a.m. on Saturday., .. A An inquest was opened before Mr A. W Woodward, J.P. (coroner) on Saturday morning, and after evidence of identification had been taken, it was adjourned sine die. Detective-sergeant J. w. Hill represented the police.
