BUCKET OF WATER

WRESTLER’S WRATH COOLED

PA. AUCKLAND, Aug. 3. A bucket of water was thrown over Jim Wright to cool his wrath after he had been disqualified in the last round of a wrestling match against “Lofty” Blomfield at the Town Hall last night. Wright took a fall with a Boston crab in the fourth round, and Blomfield equalised with his octopus clamp in the seventh. Wright was disqualified for striking with his fists. Wild scenes followed, and Wright was hooted, and police officers entered the ring to help quell the disturbance.
