MORTS DOCK STRIKE ENDED

SYDNEY. May 26,

After having been idle for six months the striking engineers returned to work at Morts Dock to-day. The men abandoned the strike, which at one stage spread to 62 dockyards after the conciliation commissioner made an award g ranting them increases of between 5s and 9s a week.
