DUNEDIN SOUTH BRANCH

At the annual meeting of the Dunedin South branch of the Labour Party recently, the president, Mr E. F. Jones, was in the chair. / The balance sheet and annual report was presented, and it showed the branch to be in a healthy financial position with a greatly increased membership. The annual report also made reference to the results of the general election for the St. Kilda electorate and the successful campaign of the member for the district, Mr Jones. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr E. F. Jones;- vfce-president, Mr P. Traill; sec-retary-treasurer, Mr R. A. Hill (reelected); assistant secretary, Mr H. Annison (re-elected); committee —Messrs J. Ruth, A. Hanton, G. D. Mong, J. Idour, Southgate, Mesdames Ruth and Brown; auditors, Mr A. T. Mclndoe and Mr H. Hodgson; delegates to 0.7-..R.C.—Messrs J. Shaw, G. D. Mong, E. F. Jones, and Mrs Hanton.
