TEAM FOR TEST MATCH
HADLEE AND SUTCLIFFE INCLUDED
P.A. WELLINGTON, Mar. 10. Mr E. E. Luttrell, secretary ,of the New Zealand Cricket Council, announced to-night that the New Zealand selectors —Messrs J. L. Kerr, W. A. Hadlee, and W. M. Wallace—had chosen the following 12 players for the test match against the M.C.C. team at Christchurch, beginning on March 21; —
C. C. Burke (Auckland). T. B. Burtt (Canterbury). J. Cowie (Auckland). C. S. Dempster (Wellington). W. A. Hadlee (Otago). K. H. Scott (Canterbury). V. J. Scott (Auckland). C. A. Snedden (Aukland). B. Sutcliffe (Otago). D. D. Taylor (Auckland). E. W. Tindill (Wellington). W. M. Wallace (Auckland). The twelfth man will be decided on the morning'of the match. The Management Committee of the council has appointed Hadlee captain and Wallace vice-captain.
