Only two pens of sheep were yarded at tlie Palmerston stock sale yesterday. One pen of small wether hoggets made 18s 9d, and the other of store wethers (shorn) made 25s In the cattle section there was a large yarding, which met with a ready sale Fat heifers sold from £l2 10s to £l4 15s, while two and three-year bullocks made from £ll to £l2 J2s Gd. Dairy heifers made from £5 15s to £6 10s; good dairy cows, to £1 10s; others from £6.
