REMOVED BY ASSEMBLY (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) BOMBAY. Oct. 3. The Legislative Assembly, by an overwhelming majority, passed a law freeing the depressed classes (Untouchables) from civil disabilities and giving them access to employment, and also to public transport and public places.
