COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICES AIHEMO COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PROPOSED LOAN PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” that, subject to the consent of the ratepayers, the Waihemo County Council propose raising a Special Loan for the purpose and on the terms hereunder:— (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is the building of New County Offices and Chambers. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is Three Thousand Pounds (£3000), at an interest rate not exceeding Three Pounds Ten Shillings (£3 10s) per annum, and the Loan shal, be known as " Building Loan, No. 1, 1946.” (c) The proposed security for the payment of the annual charges in respect to the proposed loan will be a special annually recurring rate of 5/64d in the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Waihemo. IT IS PROPOSED THAT SUCH RATE BE NOT COLLECTED but that the annual loan charges be provided for out of the General Account.
