DAILY INTERCESSION

We pray, O Lord, for those whom the long trial of war has left broken in body or soul. Touch all who tend them in hospital or home with a nexo fineness of sympathy and understanding, that their bodies may be given tone and strengthening for life’s tasks, and that by the healing influences of faith and kindness they may find again their old-time joy in friendship and in all human interests. Amen.
