MODEL ENGINEERING
Mr G. S. Mason presided at the monthly meeting of the Model Engineering Club. It was reported that after a long period of investigation the matter of a club room and grounds was considerably nearer fruition. Plans of a suitable building were examined and approved by members. The necessary steps are to be (aken immediately for an early start on construction, and the hope was expressed that when the building is completed other improvements will be embarked upon, such as a multiple-gauge railway track, a speed car track, and as soon as practicable a speed boat pond. It was decided that meetings be held on the second instead of the last Saturday in the month, The adoption of a new rule was approved providing for the provision of a junior section, associate, ordinary, and life members.
Mr A. T. Scott gave an Interesting talk rn "Machine Printing Telegraphs." Th*’ intricacies of the system were made very clear by the speaker, who was accorded a vote of thanks.”
