Deliveries of Gartons oats are still limited on account of the backward season, but it is anticipated that larger consignments will be available shortly. Millers are taking all lines that are coming to hand in order to try and meet their oatmeal orders. Chaff supplies are short, and will remain so until the new season deliveries arrive. Potatoes. Potatoes are now in somewhat short supply, as the early crops are nearly finished and it is yet too early for the main crop. The damage done by the recent floods has not yet been accurately assessed, but it is certain to be fairly heavy.
