PEDLOW.—On October 22, 1944, at Dunedin, Bertha, beloved wife of John Pedlow, 21 Scotland terrace, Green Island, formerly of Mornington, and loved mother of Jack (Auckland), Winnie (Palmerston North), Arthur (R.N.Z.A.F.), and Doug. (Green Island). Deeply mourned.—The Funeral will leave our Chapel, 78 St. Andrew street, on Wednesday, the 25th inst., at 10 a.m. (service at 9.45 a.m.), for the Green Island Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. SCOTT.—On October 23, 1944, at Dunedin, Anastasia, beloved wife of the late George Scott, ( .of Outram, formerly of Tisbury, Southland; aged 73 years. R.I.P. Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Basilica, In--vercargill, on Wednesday, the 25th inst., at 9 a.m.—The Funeral will leave the Basilica at the conclusion of the Mass for the Eastern Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors.
