Otago Club.—ln the final of the Knock-oXit Competition for the Haggitt Cup, played at Balmaccwen yesterday afternoon, J. N. Lemon defeated W. C. Romeril 1 up. St. Clair Club: —The competition for the Otatara Cup, which has been an annual eVent since 1927, was held on the St. Clair course yesterday under adverse conditions. J. H. Hofland, the winner, returned an excellent net '7l in the afternoon, making an aggregate of 148. R. C. Brown, 73—78—151, filled second place. The results of the day’s play were as follows:—Otatara Cup: J. H. Hofland, 88—17—71, 94—17—77, 148; R. C. Brown, 86—13—73, 91—13—78, 151; A. G. Evans, 83—8—75. 86—8—78, 153; G. C. McKay, 97—12—85. 83—12 71. 156; E. J. Reid, 88-8-80, 85-8—77, 157. Morning round: E. N. Aslin, 92—18—74; S. A. Pringle, 84—9—75. Afternoon round: G. C. McKay, 83—12 —7l; J. O’Donnell, 92—18—74. Competitors were not allowed to win more than one trophy.
