DEATH IN ONE HUNDREDTH YEAR

MRS W. S. ELLIOTT (P.A.) - AUCKLAND, Jan. 26. A resident in New Zealand for almost 90 years, Mrs Wilhelmina Sherriff Elliott died in Auckland to-day in her 100th year. Mrs Elliott, who was ah aunt by marriage of Lieutenant K. Elliott, V.C., was born in Edinburgh, and came to New Zealand when only ten years old. She was a teacher in the South Island, and later married Mr Robert Archibald Elliott, merchant and coach proprietor, of Fortrose and Wyndham, Southland. . On the discovery of gold in the North Island they moved to Coromandel.
