ARGENTINA’S' DECISION

REPORT FROM BUENOS AIRES 1 MONTEVIDEO. (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) . Jan. 25. The newspaper La Razon, m a special despatch from Buenos Aires, reports that the Argentine Government has signed a decree breaking off relations with the Axis. The influential newspaper Noticias Graficas, in a front page editorial, says: “ The Axis has taken advantage of our good faith. _ Ine proof that spies are active in the Argentine might lead the Government to take strong action against Axis nations.” . . , The Buenos Aires correspondent oi the Associated Press says the Foreign Minister, Dr Gilbert, told a press conference that Argentina was prepared to take the final step to eliminate all espionage activities endangering the dignity of the nation.
