FIFTEEN MEN FINED

LICENSING BREACHES In the Oama'ru Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., 15 men. were fined for being "on the premises of the Duntroon Hotel after hours on December 24. Twelve men—Alexander McDonald, Gordon Kennedy, Cecil Mervyn Hore, Bartlett Grant Porter, William John Dobson, Maxwell Douglas, Ronald McDonald, Hector Allan McDonald, Frederick Gallagher, Percy Gordon Smith, John McMurtrie, John Angus McDonald and Lester George Ballantyne were each fined £1 and costs 12s, and Alfred Russell Ward and Duncan McDiarmid were each fined £2 and costs 12s for consuming liquor on the above premises while they were required to be closed. The licensee, Louis John Andersort, for supplying liquor on licensed premises when such premises were required to be closed, was fined £l2 10s and costs 12s.
