SIR CLUTHA MACKENZIE

SPECIAL DUTY IN INDIA • (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON. Jan. 24. Lieutenant-colonel Sir Clutha Mackenzie, who was blinded at Gallipoli in 1915, is on special duty with the Government of India inquiring into and reporting on the causes, prevention, and cure of blindness in India, also on the education, employment, and general welfare of trie blind. Sir Clutha worked for St. Dunstan’s in India, Burma, and Malaya in 1940.
