WEDDING

A pretty wedding was solemnised in St. Enoch’s Church, Alexandra, recently, when Rita - Alicia, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs T. W. Sanders, was married to Donald McLennan, son of the late Mr and Mrs Dennison., The bride wore a trained gown of magnolia satin, featuring a heartshaped neckline. Her long tulle veil fell from a halo of orange blossom, and she carried g bouquet of lilies and roses. The three bridesmaids—Misses Helen Morris, Jeanette and Violet Sanders—were gowned alike in frocks of green, blue, and pink taffeta respectively, and carried bouquets of maiden fern and carnations. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr W. Wright. After the ceremony the breakfast was held at the home of the bride’s parents, where Mrs Ser ders and Mrs J. Dennison received the gu«sts For travelling, the bride wore a grey frock, with black fur cape, and black accessories to match.
