PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE
ELECTION AT RAVENSBOURNE There was a large attendance at a public meeting held in the Ravensbourne Town Hall last night to consider the election of members to the Ravensbourne Patriotic Committee. The Mayor (Mr E. J. Taylor) presided. After it had been explained that the constitution of the committee required all members to resign at the end of each year, it was unanimously decided to re-elect the previous year’s committee, with power to ddd. Several new members were also included. The committee now comprises the Mayor (the permanent chairman) and the following previous members:—The Mayoress (Mrs E. J. Taylor), Mesdames E. Edmonds, A. Macdonald. A. H. Newey, Jones, and R. Condon, and Messrs E. E. Edmonds, W. Pickersgill, R. Guthrie, W. George, J. Ironside, H. Randall; J. L. Page, P. E. Davis, and the Rsv. J. J. Cairney. The following new members were elected:—Mesdames P. E. Davis, G. Denne, R. Campbell, and Collier, and Mr A. Macdonald.
