EMPIRE THEATRE

TOPICAL DRAMA “ The Big Blockade,” which will be screened at the Empire Theatre to-mor-row, is an unusual and topical drama of Britain’s stranglehold on Germany and the occupied territories. The story is enacted by a powerful cast, headed by Michael Redgrave and Leslie Banks, and includes personal appearances by Quentin Reynolds, a famous American news commentator and journalist, Sir Ronald Cross, David Bowcs-Lyon, and members of the British Government. Others who have leading roles arc Frank Collier, Alfred Drayton, Will Hay, Robert Morley, Basil Sydney, and John Mills.
