THE CHURCHES AND IMMORALITY
gj rj —Mr J. T. Crozier has sounded the right note in his letter in this morning’s Daily Times when he states that “it has been the task of the Church to help men and wpmen to find the power for holy living in Christ.” But this problem of immorality is intensified because so many parents fail to teach their children the true facts of life. Many seem to be afraid to enlighten their children, with the result that they get this vital and necessary information from sources that are bound to react adversely upon the minds and thoughts and actions of the young. What is needed most is a return to the family altar in all homes, the reading and study of the Bible, and a fearless presentation of the facts of life by all parents to their children. If this is* done it will go a long way to promoting a healthy, and at the same time a moral, outlook upon life and fulfil that well-known axiom, “ To the pure all things are pure.”—l am, etc., C. E. Knight, Dunedin, January 26. Evangelist.
