OBITUARY

MRS DAVID PHILLIPS The death occurred at Melbourne on Wednesday. July 8, of Mrs Meta Phillips, widow of Mr David Phillips, who was well known In business circles in Dunedin. Mrs Phillips was president of the Dunedin Free Kindergarten Association for a number of years, and served on the committee of the Patients and Prisoners' Aid Society. She took a special interest in the affairs of the James Powell Convalescent Home at Warrington, her husband being chairman of the committee of the home. After the death of her husband, three years ago, Mrs Phillips went tc Australia, where she resided till her death.
