DAILY INTERCESSION

They made me keeper of the vineyards, but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Again at the beginning of another day we lift up our hearts unto Thee, Oh God—hear Thou our prayers in the morning, and at eventide do not Thou forget us. Grant to us in this time of fellowship with Thee, that our hearts may he inspired with a new enthusiasm for Thy service. May we not, through neglect of our own souls and their nourishment, fail to be able to render the service that we could, to those in need; blit may we through patient reading of Thy word and continued waiting upon Thee become fit to offer ourselves as worthy instruments of Thy purposes. Amen.
